LAS VEGAS, October 28, 2006 -- New team owners Kenny Koretsky and Greg Hill continued to be pleased with the performance of their fledgling Nitro Fish/Indicom Electric Fast Boys Racing team Saturday after Koretsky qualified the Chevy Cobalt for its second straight event.
Koretsky drove the car to a best of 6.753 seconds at 203.77 mph to claim the 12th starting berth for Sunday's ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He races No. 5 Tommy Lee (6.732 at 204.11 mph) in Sunday's opening round.
"We were fifth quickest in our final qualifying session and it looks like we have a good car going into eliminations. It's a pretty good feeling. We planned to run the last three races to begin getting ready for next year."
