Neff Parked! (1 Viewer)

Wow, all but 1 crew member is brand new?
I had John pegged as the kind of guy to keep everyone together through thick and thin. Even so, consolidation is something we're hearing a lot about in the current worldwide economy.
Best of luck to JFR in 2010.

I think a big factor in this was Johns car moving out of CA to Indy, and the crew guys not wanting to relocate. Some (most?) of the guys from Neffs car now work on Johns.

Neff and Coil as crew chiefs. Miglizzi as head track specialist.
Could be a good year for JFR.
Hope Neff and Coil work well together and bring home lots of Wally's. Good luck to the team.

This is going to be a great year for John. Im glad he made the moves that he has this offseason. I think he hasn't been as competitive because his operation got so big and he lost some of his on track focus. I say watch out to the rest of the funny car field, THE BOSS IS BACK!!!!

Results on the track will speak a lot louder than words in a press release. Facts are John's performance has not been championship type of performance since his accident. I think Neff tuning on his car will improve his performance this year, but I would expect other teams such as AJR and DSR to give John and his teams a run for their money.

Boy-The ole truck driver made us look stupid. Look at all the griping we did when he put Neff in the seat- "no driving expereance" "didn't move anybody up from the team" "is Neff dating a daughter?"
Look what he did-he took a championship winning crew chief from a competitors team-
He was able to do some r+d (not testing) without "demoting" his family drivers to the task-
He also was able to give a next gen crew chief on the job training without disrupting any championship runs.
And now that he cant afford to run the car, the former driver is still a valuable asset to the team-rather than someone he has to lay off.

Don't know if thats how he had things planned all along-but it sure looks smart now-huh?:)

.....yeah and he was able to give Zippy a chance to fullfill a life-long dream and capture his first NHRA Wally as a driver.... not a bad perk i'd say

According to the weather channel, the current temperature in LA is 60 degrees with calm winds and partly sunny skies. The current temperature in Indy is 19 degrees with cloudy skies and windy. You do the math.

JFR relocated "all" of it's racing operation to Brownsburg.
The only thing staying in Yorba Linda will be the Racestation and corporate.

Sounds like the So Cal EPA/CARB walked through the door of his shop. Kevin...have you ever heard of that happening?;)

Goodwin don't even think those letters in that order:mad:
They know where you are, what you eat, what you drink and how many squares of TP you're suppose to use and if you're using to many here comes the fines.
Those idiots don't take your first born, they eat them and they do it with a smile and a citation for you having them in the first place. You know all about that carbon footprint B.S.
Saving trees, fish, gnats and putting the working public on welfare is their only agenda.
OK, I'm done, I'll get off the tire now.
Have a great weekend
