NHRA and JEGS have announced a multiyear extension of the JEGS NHRA SPORTSnationals, which will head to its new home at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta, Ga., July 9-10 as part of a Lucas Oil competition doubleheader that spans four action-packed days.

I thought the White family still owned that land and the track "leased" that little piece for the extension? But it's been a long time since I had heard about it.

Since the move to 1000 feet was made after the national event moved to Norwalk, it would be interesting to see results now.

am i reading that land parcel correct? before improvements that 215.48 acres is worth $2,069,200? that's a tick over $9600/acre!!

Yes. This is part of the reason tracks are sold. It will take many years to clear that money. If they split that into acre lots for housing probably be in the 30k- 50k per lot in that area.The Amazon/distrubution warehouses are moving this way and there are expensive houses just north of there and moving south towards the track.

IMO it's good to see this event, as well as the sportsnationals, held at non-nat. event tracks. both great facilities.

Wow, they subdivided that little piece off - the "+lot 24 r13 t1 q3"............ Leasing it no more. Probably a smart move for both parties, for liability reasons. I wonder if they needed a variance from the Licking County Panning Commision for that type of lot subdivision? Very interesting.

oh yeah and consider how much is already paved, and what it would cost to pave on new ground now.
