Crowd seemed to like it, silly yeah but hey it happens. Not like it hasn't happened in drag racing or alot of other sports.

Sportsman can't win, people complain when they are PC and scriptlike but people also complain when they show their human side and show some emotion and anger.

I don't mind the fighting ... Genesis of NASCAR as far as mainstream America is concerned is Cale Yarborough's nose beating on the Allison Brothers' fists on the backstretch of Daytona '79.

What I do mind is that it could have ruined the Championship for Brad K. He was right behind Bowyer when Gordon got stupid. There should be a line around the block to kick Gordon's arse ... he deserves it. They actually had 4 cops escort him to and from the NASCAR Hauler so he wouldn't get jumped LOL.

I was way more upset NASCAR didn't throw the caution at the end of the race ... tore up a lot of cars unnecessarily and Danica took a hard lick she will feel for a few days ... and Brad K almost got screwed by someone else's mistake again!

That was one embarrassing moment!!

Nope Mike, unless it is embarrassing for the world to see the man pulling the levers behind the curtain... But, I have no problem with "Team Orders": as in F1, Indy Car, Sports Car type Teams... not NFL, MLBB, NBA type teams...

Indy was upsetting for some because of 'Diving' for family (Bob), and not just for an employee (T-Ped)

Something like this would be the best thing to happen in NHRA. It would get tons of media attention and lots of new eyes on a sport that is in sore need of new viewers. Imagine if some of the NHRA drivers really said what they thought about their teammates/other drivers instead of rattling off a long list of sponsors and lying to us and pretending that they're all the best of friends....

BINGO. What one event probably did more than anything else to pique America's interest in a traditionally Southern sport? The Allison brothers and Cale Yarbrough fighting on national television at Daytona. NASCAR has one of the same problems as does NHRA----and its called BORING!!!! A lot of folks, myself included, are sick and tired of the same old canned sponsor plugs every time a microphone gets stuck in front of a driver. The NASCAR fracas was played over and over again all over national television. How many ZILLION dollars would that type of exposure cost? And if anyone thinks the "politically correct" crowd makes up the majority of the fan base of any sport period, let alone motorsports, maybe I could interest you in some beautiful Arkansas ocean front property.

The crews getting into it was stupid. Let the two drivers square off and throw down.
