Motorsports writers opinions on Force (1 Viewer)

That being said, I have received information from two sources that the chassis failed and punctured a tire after the car separated.

Well, I can add this. My Father-in-law was eating lunch in Lafayette last Friday and was sitting next to the table where I believe 3 guys were talking about this deal. My Father-in-law overheard what was being said and asked point-blank if anyone knew what caused it. The response he got was that after the tire let go, it caused serious forward-reverse harmonics in the chassis at such a high rate of speed, that it literally pulled the chassis apart.

Who were these guys? I can't say for sure and neither can he, but according to my Father-in-law, they were wearing McKinney Corp. shirts, and when he described the individual who actually gave him the reason, it matched Murf himself. Understand that I'm not saying that it was him, but I have been to his shop and have met him and the description given to me matched him.

The bottom line is, will we ever really know?
