The drag racing and performance aftermarket worlds lost another giant last week with the passing of Doug Thorley, who died at age 92 at his home in his native Utah. Here's a fond look back at his career.

Me too Cliff, that Corvair is in my all time, hands down, top 5 AA/FC cars..............ever!

His performance of course at Indy was something. 2 other races,67 Manufaturers meet and the big ol S/XS meet at Lions in late fall cemented the lore of that car.
