We already have enough commercials we dont need to run 3/4 split screen commercials during the race, Bad enough ps gets the shaft now we have to see this crap. Just when I couldnt think it could get worse ,it does lol.

I watch alot of tv,never seen it before. They have enough commercials already,just saying we dont need more and esp during races,even tho its burnouts. Esp the same commercials all the time

being lucky enough to grow up during the glory years of drag racing, one thing for sure, i will miss nothing when im gone. as the sign said- "it's all over". the T/F field at pomona proved that this year. the consistency of a T/AD would put some T/Fers in the transporters in the first rd. tire smoke / lost cylinder / late on the line and that T/AD is gone and thrown the laundry out. safe bet shawn or joey would make the countdown on consistency alone. no complete T/F field, T/AD or TA/FC field at the winternationals. = unreal.

Jeromy, If you would get a 78" tv, then it would be like your TV momentarily shrunk to 48" ... you already complain about the announcers, so I'm guessing its just that your TV isn't large enough.

Almost all sports are doing the split screen thing. I am not sure it means MORE commercials just a different format and it does at least keep you watching the show..

Yeah but there are two big differences. The "other sports" are live and action is generally non-stop.

Even if it were live, NHRA literally has built in "breaks" because the action stops once the run is over. There is certainly enough time for a traditional commercial break.

I stopped watching the show halfway through, it still is not at the point that it is formatted in a way that keeps my interest.
