Mike Dunn, you rock, but...

I never heard that before, but it would be neat. I do remember Dunn saying something about being offered a nostalgia F/C ride, but he couldn't because it conflicted with his son's baseball games. Another reason to respect Mike Dunn if you ask me. As a parent of a ball player myself, I'm not sure I would make that decision, but then again I didn't get to be in and around nitro cars my whole life.

I'd rather hear Dunn saying irregardless multiple times than hear Paul Page say anything at all...

I read Robin Miller's mailbag over at SpeedTV every week ... and the IndyCar fans at least once a month ask why PP has been "exiled" to drag racing, and they need him back in the IndyCar booth ... I am always like YOU CAN HAVE HIM BACK. Robin Miller always has to explain to them, PP is at ABC/ESPN ... IndyCar is NBC/Versus ... so no PP for IndyCar. Bummer for us.

I had an English teacher that would automatically fail your assignment if you used the word irregardless. So I would sneak the word into creative writing assignments any way I could ... usually quoting someone so I would skate on a technicality. The one I was most proud of was a homonym something along the lines of: "Van Gogh cut off his ear regardless of his own well-being." My teacher circled the words ear regardless and wrote in red ink "I see what you did here ... clever".
