Mid To Late Eighties Northstar Nationals

Here are some photos I took at a Northstar Nationals in the mid-eighties, I think. Can anyone help me identify these cars?

A black Nova:

A white Chevelle

A blue Goat:

I'm really sure these were taken in the late eighties from the looks of the trailers and fashions.

LOVE the wheels on the tiger. Anyone have a set of those that will fit a 442???????

Anyone know who these cars used to belong to????

I don't know the cars, but the trailer in front of the black Nova is a "Rodeway" built by Doc Halladay. Minnesotah all the way

the race originated in 1980 i believe.
that black nova reminds of a similar car that still runs today
in super stock i think - has beautiful white/yellow/blue pinstripe
flames on front fenders and across hood.

No Sir....It was 1982 for the first NHRA National Event... Cha Cha, Hawley, and the late Lee Shephed won.

Then why does my ticket up there say "NHRA/QUAKER STATE NORTHSTAR NATIONALS, AUGUST 15, 16, 17, 18, 1981?"
