I have a dumb question: In the event that R2B2 can't fix the Road Rage Camaro for Leah, would it be possible (legal?) for her to use Melanie's car in Eliminations instead? Leah is a quick study and a HELL of a driver, so the transition from her normal supercharged saddle to a turbocharged one may not be so difficult?

According to NHRA@interactive they took the nose off of Ray Commisso's car and put in on Leah's car.

To answer the question, NHRA's 'Eddie Hill' rule allows a driver to change cars as a result of one being damaged during qualifying. As to whether they would have allowed her to use a car that had already been eliminated from competition, I'm not certain, although I'm guessing NO.
