The video is an excellent piece that I am sure will find it's way in to every sponsor package sent out in the near future. Coupled with their excellent sponsor ratings compared (Sports Business Journal) to other sports I am sure that corporate America will start noticing NHRA.
With an uncertain economy, sponsorship dollars are sure to be slashed, which means a lot of companies will no longer be able to afford Nascar. Those companies will still have sponsor dollars to spend, it's just a matter of getting them to the track - the sport sells itself at that point.
If IMG and Edelman can work their magic on NHRA we could be in for some new mainstream sponsors in drag racing.
Anyone notice the little tidbit about the TV ratings this year? Up 30% is a good start.
