What kind of professional help do you need to seek for carrying a cooler into an awards banquet?

None- it was small enough for him to carry in on his own....

Seems that Spence enjoys a particular flavor of alcoholic beverage that was not to be served up at the bar at that particular shindig. As opposed to sitting through the festivities not enjoying the swill that was available, Mr. Massey, knowing they didn't serve his brand, took it upon himself to bring a small six pack cooler with his favorite beverage and be fairly inconspicuous about it. It's not like he was the only person drinking on the property...




Or, at least that would be a good story to explain the personal stash...

A good friend once told me something similar, he said " alcohol doesn't make you say stupid things. It gives you the balls to say what you already think". I think that's about what happened in this case. The public version of SM was incapacitated enough that his true personality showed up and was ready to party!

All well and good I suppose. Except for the part where TJ, who has done nothing wrong, been a contributing member of the team, has never embarrassed any of his sponsors, and, on his worst day, is Spencer's equal behind the wheel, got passed over for a seat.

Don's been saying that that have to find TJ a sponsor. Now they're funding Massey's car with company money.

Yes, I get everything is fine and all hunky-dory. Except for TJ and all the fans he has. I'm one. For me, the whole of DSR can take a long walk off a short pier. I won't be spending any of my money on any of their sponsors' products. It may not be a big hit to their bottom line but it's what I can do. Your mileage may vary.

I think DSR could win alot of fans back by putting a REAL well deserved driver in the cockpit,not Massey.

I could understand your point on putting a "Nicer" driver in the seat, but all that "WE" meaning what is heard of about what supposedly happened is hearsay and was only really in the semi-pubic eye. I'll give you that. To say "better" driver in the seat, forget about what you think about the Banquet or how he got the ride from cory (2 hidden things brought to mater on heresay) Spencer does not deliver a better bang for the buck. He is one of the primary reasons reaction time came back into being an issue in top fuel. Not so long ago if you were a TF driver and cut a .090 you were pretty damn good, now you're nothing.
