Maple Grove- IHRA (1 Viewer)

Think of this. Did everyone question every financial investment that Elon Musk has done with the response of this guy has stupid spending decisions and he's gonna fail or go bankrupt?

We know more about Musk's finances because we know a lot about the stock he owns and the value of that stock. We also know the salary he takes from any of his public companies. And we know when he sells any stock to pocket the cash.

when everyone loves to talk about IHRA , mainly Darrell's finances in NEGATIVE ways and ALSO likes to speculate when it's going to crash, go look in the mirror!!! If I was a multi billionaire and decided to invest into motorsports and all I read everyday was negativity towards what I was doing, that might push me to say F-IT! why invest into a world of trash talking know it alls ! it would be like being married to someone who trashes everything you do ... sooner than later you're gonna walk! SO how about questioning this guys money and motives and just be glad!!!!

Darrell Cuttell is not going to change his vision of reshaping motorsports because of some people questioning if he can make all these grand plans work. Movers like him ignore outside noise. This is groundbreaking, we've never seen so many tracks purchased in a few months, tracks brought back from the dead. Nothing wrong with healthy discussion on a Drag Racing forum and speculation and doubt are rightly part of the back and forth, everyone here is a Drag racing fan and wants it to prosper and continue for many decades into the future. What would be reassuring right now would be to see an Alan R, Mike Dunn , or similar experienced person appointed in a leadership position. I do like hearing of Larry Morgan's involvement. Exciting times for sure , even my Nascar friends are following the IHRA moves. I do think NHRA is going to benefit from a competitor as far as improving their program also.

There are experienced people running the Nitro Series events. You named Larry, but there’s also Scott ‘Woody’ Woodruff, Doug Foley Jr, myself, and many others behind the scenes that have decades of experience putting on large-scale events.

IMO, I would imagine he takes the renovation of the properties into consideration when purchasing them.

Thank you, I was thinking the same thing when I started reading your post, I hope for racings future that he makes it work, money moves in a different pattern and ways now😎🙏

Thank you so much for reminding me/us of that. Also we are lucky to have you on here for reassurance and clarification, I can't imagine how exciting your job is right now! My apologies for that slight, I'm not familiar with you, but glad you are on the leadership team ! Looking forward to 2026.

Hi Josh, didn't know you were working for IHRA. We came from Texas for the last race at Dunn. A great time. Lots of workers stayed at our hotel and all were very nice. We met Eric and Jennifer , great people. We are coming back in 77 days to Dunn, then Columbus,Montgomery and Memphis. Please keep up the Great work!
