Has anybody heard an update on Lynn lately??
Alan? Unk??

LEt me know something please. I've been thinking about him alot lately.

Cody, and everyone else,

I talked to Lynn night before last, he is doing remarkably well considering everything he's been through.
Current MRI showed that virtually all of the cancer they've been fighting has extensively diminished or is gone alltogether.
While he is currently off chemo, they are still monitoring Lynn for any recurrences. Lynn is also still recoverring from a couple of issues that arose from the chemo treatments that the doctors say should heal but will take some time to complete that healing.
We talked for about 30 minutes, and I can say that Lynn sounded as good as he has in quite awhile.
The LODRS event in Shreveport is the weekend after Indy and unless the situation and conditions change, Lynn is planning to be there for the majority of the event. I know I'll be glad to see him there.
Lynn did want me to also tell everyone thanks for their thoughts, concerns and prayers. They mean a lot to him!

Unk

Thanks for Sharing this info about Lynn.
We look forward to seeing him at Red River for Sure!!!!!

Re: Lynn Nickerson/Fund Raiser

Unk:

I had dinner with Olan Gotcher last night and he says the same thing about Lynn. Sounds like he is making progress and we pray for his continued improvement and one day be completely cured.

I would like to take this time to invite everyone to the 4th annual Greg Morris Memorial Golf Tournament Wednesday Sept.19,2007 before the O’Reilly NHRA Fall Nationals in Ennis, Tx. No experience is necessary. This is a 4 player scramble format. We do accept single player entries. The only requirment is to have a set of golf clubs.

We have raised over $60,000 in the first 3 years and have helped people like Lynn Nickerson, Heather Morris, DRAW,RFC and others. This is due in part to the generosity of drag racers and our sponors.

If anyone needs an entry form feel free to email me ([email protected]) or call me anytime (214-707-4361) for further information. We need players and sponsors alike. There are still corporate and hole sponsorships available. You cannot believe the fun that is had at this tournament.

Unk, I hope to see you there.

I saw Lynn briefly tonight at Texas Raceway in Kennedale. He was co-announcing the big BHRA event and looked/sounded fantastic.

Normally a weekend we are racing beats just about anything-particularly when when of our team cars makes it to the finals (which Al's car did in comp at the D1 Atco points race). But if I'd been at work this weekend, I would have been able to hear Lynn over the Net and that would have have been almost as good as being at the track. It's great to hear that people are getting to hear Lynn work again!

I don't know Lynn personally but just read the article at competitionplus. So glad to find out that he's back announcing - not only at the track but announcing his faith in God and what He's brought Lynn through. Instead of blaming God for his cancer he has found that God loves each one of us and will carry us through whatever we are going through if we will turn to Him. Awsome!

I was so happy when I heard Lynn was announcing, I am just disappointed we weren't there so I could say hello myself.
