Live Timing at NHRA.com, finally....

...and they've got a pretty good graphic representation of the race in "real time" based on the incrementals.

Mine's working good. That's along with the audio. Hell, lets ask for a live vid stream !!!

I'd still like to see an optional "E-member" package available for fans, for a lesser price.... with full audiocast access & live timing access only; with no ND subscription. But this is a nice preview; looks good. Can't wait to see the fast cars on there.

I had the audiocast and the live timing up simultaneously for a while . . . then the live timing said that I was "logged out" because I somebody else was logged in under my account, and everytime I try to go to the home page on my links to restart live timing it won't let me go to anywhere but that "logged out" page.

Obviously, I have another Explorer page open, logged in, with the audiocast open. Anybody else having this problem?

OK, it wouldn't let me open a second browser, but when I opened NHRA.com again on a second tab of the SAME browser, it let me go to the live timing app on my pc.

Gotta hand it to them! The Live Timing thing is really neat. Nice graphic interface, and I really like to be able to see the incrementals as they happen. After all my *****ing about the things NHRA has done wrong, I definitely have to give out a big attaboy for doing something right. The audiocast is great, but I think I enjoy the live timing feature more.

Oh man. That is too cool! I love it!

I have to keep scrolling down to see the whole page because it keeps bumping itself back to the top. Is that my screen at the wrong settings?

If I could ask for just one thing, it would be to swap the left lane's incremental values with their individual description so we could have both lane's numbers next to each other. Would be easier to compare.
Also, have the right lane competitor's picture swap with his RT, ET, and MPH.

*edit: ah crap, that's two things.:o

Otherwise, great job NHRA! Very cool.

Has anyone else noticed NHRA's site being VERY slow today?

Yeah, I know it's normally a slow site, but today is painfully slow! It's taking about 45 seconds just to load the main page (and every other page) and when live timing finally loads, it doesn't do anything. Every other site I visit is just fine so I doubt it's a problem on my end.

I now remember why I changed my home page. I ALWAYS had NHRA as my home page but when they switched over to their new site I couldn't handle the slow load time. I see they're STILL having problems.

I agree it is very slow, but maybe that is a good thing if huge page hits are causing it. That can be fixed with cubic dollars.

Mine was skipping rounds and freezing up. Many incremental s wouldn't show up until both cars crossed the finish line. I gave up after the alcohol session, Which was all I was really interested in anyway.

Yes - on the PC at the shop and mac at home. Appears Live Timing is not a "Members Only" thing, so I'll try Audiocast on the mac and Live Timing on the PC at home Saturday. Customers keep interrupting experiments to get this to work at the shop! - :D

If you are having issues with Live Timing try downloading the newest version of Flash that could help. Also clear out "cookies". and open up new tabs to open Audiocast not a new session of explorer or firefox.

My live timing is a run slow. I have the latest Flash and cleaned cookies. If you notice at the top, it says Motorola Live BETA
