apparently, he is. He has been doing some NHRA sportsman events as off last year. We'll have to see if that continues. I believe the privately owned tracks (not NHRA owned) can pick anybody they want for announcing a sportsman race.

yet nhra runs all events at the in-n-out pomona dragway. maybe the snyders had a little pull here?
this is the first div. 7 race at pomona since 2002.

Could be as he's an independent contractor, but I think Alan and IHRA parted ways (?)
In any case for Alan's benefit - when NHRA sent their survey about how to improve NHRA.tv I told them they screwed the pooch letting Alan get away

I did not but I have noticed lots of posted pics are, I have wondered why ??? You watch some clips and the action is all reversed...it is strange.
