Speed Pryncess gave me a copy of "Slingshot Spectacular" by Steve Reyes for Christmas. Shows that if ya raise em up right in drag racing, they get what a really cool present is! She was sold on giving me the book after seeing a picture of her favorite TF driver as a kid on page 99 -
Erin and I have a very special relationship when it comes to drag racing. Its a joy to have a child who truly shares your love of the sport. We'll be at Firebird for the Time Trials and Arizona Nationals - hope to see some Maters there.

I love David Baca to death, but boy was he a little monster when he was little. At one race, an official told dad Dennis he was out (for whatever reason). David kicked the guy in the shins. He was a holy terror!!!!

Boy are there stories to tell on a lot of second generation kids.
