Have any of you had any experience running Linux/ubuntu/FireFox? Any comments would be appreciated. The one thing I've noticed is you don't see any virus' when you try to download eMule or any of the other sites for music.

you mean eDonkey? isnt eMule for windows and eDonkey for linux? I have an old 533 celeron machine I cobbled together and installed a mandrake distribution of linux on. Never installed a p2p on it just a netscape browser and WINE to try and run some some windows programs in emulation. yeah I know Wine Is Not an Emulator. But I used it for six months some years ago and parked it in a closet.
