BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster driver Brandon Lewis and the Lewis Family Racing team have announced the signing of TigerFlow Systems as the team’s primary sponsor for the 2009 season. After winning their first NHRA national event in Brainerd,20Minn., with TigerFlow as a major associate in 2008, the team is excited about the new expanded sponsorship role in 2009. The team also signed 2008 Division 4 Championship winning tuner/chassis builder Joe Monden as Crew Chief for 2009 and will debut a new Monden chassis to pursue the national and Division 4 Championship.

Lewis, 23, who is a surgical tech when not racing in Broken Arrow, Okla., is looking forward to the 2009 season with a new primary sponsor, new car and new Crew Chief.

“We’re very pleased to announce TigerFlow is stepping up from an associate sponsor to primary sponsor,” said Lewis. “In a time where many race teams are losing sponsorships, we feel very lucky to have a great sponsor supporting us in these tough times like TigerFlow. We really have to thank Monroe Guest and Marvin Yoder for their faith in our team.

“We’ve also hired Joe Monden as Crew Chief for this year,” Lewis continued. “Joe tuned Aaron Tatum to the Division 4 Championship last year, so we’re really looking forward to having someone as talented as Joe giving our car his full attention all season. He’s building us a new car, and we’re putting a new TigerFlow scheme on the car, so we’re all pretty excited about the year. In addition to TigerFlow, we have Morrison Construction, Unifirst, Lucas Oil, Joe Monden Racecars and A-1 Auto Body on board as associate sponsors.”

Monroe Guest, Vice President and CFO of TigerFlow Systems, is excited about TigerFlow’s expanded involvement with Lewis Family Racing as well. Guest is a racer himself as he won the 2008 Division 4 Top Dragster Championship.

“TigerFlow is very proud to be the primary sponsor of Brandon Lewis and Lewis Family Racing,” stated Guest. “Being able to entertain existing and potential clients is a big part of what we do at the track with our sponsored teams. Our goal is to create an environment to get our company reps together with our clients. It also allows us to expose our clients to NHRA Drag Racing. Some of our clients haven’t been around the sport at all or in many years, so it’s a very big thrill for them to experience the action close-up. It gives our reps the opportunity to show them our products and build relationships. That’s very important to us.

“It is going to be very exciting to be a part of Brandon going for both the Nationa l and Division 4 Championships,” Guest added. “Brandon won’t be the only TigerFlow car on the track. We’re sponsoring Shayne Lawson, who will split the driving duties with Todd Odem on his A/Fuel Dragster. I will be driving that car at the Charlotte national event as well. We’ve also renewed our sponsorship of Brad McWilliams’ Top Alcohol Funny Car team that Billy Davis will drive. In addition, we will be back on board with Kebin Kinsley and Nancy Matter as an associate sponsor.”

Lewis and the TigerFlow Systems A/Fuel Dragster team will make their competition debut at the ACDelco Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla., Mar. 12-15.
