Slow-Starting Leah Pruett Laying Low to Focus on Getting Tony Stewart Racing its First NHRA Win
Tony Stewart Racing's Pruett sits disappointing 12th in NHRA Top Fuel Standings; teammate Matt Hagan is second in Funny Car points.
You think it's any easier on the FC side? Just because Matt is winning doesn't mean building a second FC and getting that up to speed would be a piece of cake. She'll get there in the TF car. Just my 2 cents.I'm wondering, with so many heavy hitters running top fuel right now, and Leah struggling mightily, would they consider moving her over to FC. Their team funny car is kickin' tail this year, so they would already have a head start on the tune up, required and the competition in FC is not as fierce as in TF IMO
She's keeping her cool in her top end interviews, that's for sure.I think Leah's been doing OK, for the most part. She has been on the losing side of some close races.
And who might that be?There is a guy in Indy welding headers for pro mod cars that might get that car out of its doldrums.
