Latest “ADRL Drag Racing Live” Includes Cary Goforth, Rick Jones and Ed Burnley (1 Viewer)

O’FALLON, MO (July 27, 2011) – Extreme Pro Stock points leader Cary Goforth, RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max President Rick Jones, and Pro Nitrous driver Ed Burnley will be the featured guests on the ADRL’s weekly online show, “ADRL Drag Racing Live,” presented by Summit Racing Equipment.

The entertaining 90-minute broadcast airs live every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on the ADRL website, ADRL.us | American Drag Racing League and also on ADRL Drag Racing Live Online Radio by ADRL DragRacing Live | Blog Talk Radio. Every archived show is available on-demand on the ADRL website as well.

“ADRL Drag Racing Live” is hosted by ADRL Television personality Bret Kepner and ADRL Director of Media and Communications Josh Hachat. They break down the latest news and happenings in the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league, and it is the only weekly show that is 100 percent devoted to the ADRL.

Goforth was the Extreme Pro Stock winner at the ADRL’s most recent event, the Ford Drive One Summer Drags VII, which took place earlier this month at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Mich.

It was the second win this season for Goforth, who also debuted a new Jerry Haas-built GXP at the event. Always entertaining, Goforth will talk about the victory and overtaking Pete Berner for the points lead in what was a historic weekend for the Extreme Pro Stock class.

Jones’ RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max is an ADRL sponsor in 2011 – and also the sponsor of the low qualifier program in Pro Nitrous – and Jones will give his thoughts on his first full year involved with the ADRL.

Jones will also discuss the first win by Mahana Al-Naemi, who drove a RJ-built Camaro to victory in Pro Nitrous at U.S. 131, and the performance of his son, Rickie, this season.

Burnley had one of the best showings of his ADRL career at the Ford Drive One Summer Drags VII, advancing to the semifinals in the loaded Pro Nitrous class.

The Maryland native continues to climb up the points standings and will discuss what has been key for his improvement as he looks to make his first finals appearance in Pro Nitrous.

Thursday’s broadcast will also look ahead to the next event on the 2011 ADRL Tour, which is the ADRL Speedtech U.S. Drags IV. That event takes place Aug. 12-13 at Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg, Va.
