O’FALLON, MO (March 2, 2011) – Pro Extreme standout Joshua Hernandez and Pro Extreme Motorcycle rider Terry Schweigert will the be featured guests on the ADRL’s weekly online show, “ADRL Drag Racing Live,” presented by Summit Racing Equipment. The ADRL also has another major announcement scheduled for the program.
The entertaining 90-minute broadcast airs live every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on the ADRL website, ADRL.us :: American Drag Racing League and also on ADRL Drag Racing Live | Internet Radio | Blog Talk Radio. Every archived show is available on-demand on the ADRL website as well.
“ADRL Drag Racing Live” is hosted by ADRL Television personality Bret Kepner and ADRL Director of Media and Communications Josh Hachat. They break down the latest news and happenings in the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league, and it is the only weekly show that is 100 percent devoted to the ADRL.
Hernandez has been a mainstay in the ADRL’s Pro Extreme class and he will enter 2011 as one of the favorites in the extremely competitive division as he shoots for his first World Championship.
Hernandez, a popular Houston native who is now a member of Bahrain 1 Racing, was the points leader in 2010, and also comes off a successful winter of racing in the Arabian Drag Racing League for the first time.
Schweigert also competed in Qatar, winning the points championship in PXM. That will give the popular rider momentum heading into the 2011 Tour after a magnificent 2010 season stateside and overseas.
Schweigert will also discuss what he expects from the class for this upcoming season as well as his thoughts on his first trip to Qatar.
The major announcement scheduled for Thursday comes on the heels of the ADRL revealing purse and payouts increases for 2011 on last week’s show.
Thursday’s broadcast will also look ahead to the upcoming 2011 ADRL season, which starts March 25-26 with CarSafe Dragpalooza VII presented by LenMar Motorsports at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas.
