“ADRL Drag Racing Live” Has Big Announcement, PX’s Joey Martin, PXM’s Ron Procopio (1 Viewer)

O’FALLON, MO (March 14, 2011) – Pro Extreme driver Joey Martin and Pro Extreme Motorcycle rider Ron Procopio will the be among the featured guests on the ADRL’s weekly online show, “ADRL Drag Racing Live,” presented by Summit Racing Equipment.

The ADRL also has a special announcement planned for the program, and Extreme Pro Stock driver Cale Aronson will also be on the show to discuss the Mickey Thompson-sponsored test session - free of charge to all ADRL competitors - which takes place in San Antonio March 21-23.

The entertaining 90-minute broadcast airs live every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on the ADRL website, ADRL.us :: American Drag Racing League and also on ADRL Drag Racing Live | Internet Radio | Blog Talk Radio. Every archived show is available on-demand on the ADRL website as well.

“ADRL Drag Racing Live” is hosted by ADRL Television personality Bret Kepner and ADRL Director of Media and Communications Josh Hachat. They break down the latest news and happenings in the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league, and it is the only weekly show that is 100 percent devoted to the ADRL.

Martin is the driver of the popular Lowmad ’55 Chevrolet Nomad Pro Extreme car, which is getting a new look for 2011.

Martin will also discuss his recent testing session where he went 3.66 as well as his thoughts on the loaded PX class.

Procopio, a longtime PXM veteran, enters the 2011 ADRL season on a roll, winning the Shakedown at Palm Beach earlier this month. The class standout will talk about that win along with his plans for the 2011 ADRL Tour.

The special announcement scheduled for Thursday comes on the heels of the ADRL announcing expanded live online broadcasts, purse and payouts increases for 2011 and an added race date at Memphis International Raceway on previous shows.

Thursday’s broadcast will also look ahead to the upcoming 2011 ADRL season, which starts March 25-26 with CarSafe Dragpalooza VII presented by LenMar Motorsports at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas.
