AJ is too smart and has too much money to re-start his own TF team with Melanie. But a 3rd Kalitta dragster with her driving is an interesting idea.

Loved that race, especially after Justin took my boy Clay out who everyone in the place wanted to see go some rounds after starting #4 with a 3.69.

thought vegas eliminations yesterday was probably a top 3 race of the year, maybe even the best. close racing, holeshot wins,
and performance numbers were some of best this year. even though i watched the broadcast recorded, i only FF through PSB.
how about troy c. jr. with trip zips to take out g. stanfield. holy cow. and then troy straps an .026 on dallas in final, dallas answers
with an .002 and the win. incredible. ...... vandergriff closes gap to 39 points

Can't lose with the FC champion. Who here doesn't like both Hagen and Vandergriff? Pro Stock is Glenn's to lose. If he goes out in E1 there's 3 others that can snatch the championship but that's not likely as Glenn will likely be pitted against a 15th or 16th qualifier. Langdon is a lock unless he too goes out in E1 and Kalitta wins the race. PS, dunno, probably Gadson or Herrera.

I would think Mitch Kalitta would also be in the mix if a third car was on the horizon.

I am guessing that Mitch will be taking over for Doug. Doug's been in the seat for a long time now and maybe he will be running Kalitta Air after Connie dies.
