Las Vegas oil downs

I have been going to the races here in Vegas since day one. Why does it take so long to clean up oil downs here? I go to Pomona and it doesnt seem to take as long. Do they do something different? Sunday was CRAZY with the long delays for clean-up. You can only handle so much of the Geico Blues Brothers...

I went a qualifying day there a few years back and was asking myself the same thing. Was it the cool temps?
