That picture was taken at Brad's shop. Leigh Anne (Anderson) Beck posted on her FB page that Larry is driving for her dad, Brad Anderson, in Brad's PM car.

Anyway you look at it racing costs money! Nothing new there!

Bringing a check to drive isn't a new concept, and will always be part of racing. Not a horrible thing, someone with a team infrastructure in place teams with someone who brings the money to hit the road, puts a car on the track that may be parked otherwise.
