Anybody hear what caused Dixon's car to die right off of the line? Was this another failure of the mandatory automatic shutoff device?

When I heard his comment about the burst panels still being intact the first thing that popped in my head was another failure of the nanny device.

Well, what do you know. John Kernan just reported that they couldn't find any frayed wires or any other causes, the team suspects it was the shutoff device. How many failures of that stupid thing does that make this year? If things had played out a little differently that malfunction could have cost him a championship.

This system needs an overhaul during the off season. Wheather it's the box, the cables, connections, or whatever, it's coming up with problems too often.

How did he win the round? It confused me because wasn't the rule for sportsman that you must take the light but the pros was you gotta cross the finish line?
