The weather looks perfect. It is Sat and Sunday. I have heard so much about this race. Just caught mention of it tonight on another board.Kingman

Bullet Bob went to assist his neighbor 'Doyle' (S/C dragster) ........It was fun - a little interesting........a struggle to get the program all in - in time = they left early.

I would like to see any photos if someone got any?

It is a really well attended event. Getting bigger and bigger every year. I have not gotten an invite in the last few years, but we went Funny-car racing up there a few years back. Not too much traction, but some good fun.

This race was awesome!!! We had three winners from Vegas including my dad Joe Niswonger who won in his Part Time Mistress 70 Chevelle in the Unlimited class! Brian and all his guys put on an awesome show!! I highly recommend checking out this race!!

Even a cop run his cruiser down the 300 ft. I guess the city, police ,, whomever is letting them do this, don't have a clue of what could happen.

Not sure any promod or alky car should be running on the street. Its proven to be deadly and very costly for a bad outcome.

They had a funny car make a couple of passes. It is a very safe place to run. there are alot of emergency people in case anything goes wrong. if you havent tried it you should. it is a blast.:o

The videos I saw I think were from this year, showed a VERY well planned out and executed event. Cement barriers all the way, stands for fans not up against the racing surface. It was very professionally looking. It looked like it was set up for the best in entertainment with fun AND SAFETY implimented at every possible instance.
I have yet to go to this event. I have not gone to the burnout contest at the Burger King after the other event. I will make it someday. Congrats to all the winners, and also to those who took the time and distance of travel to attend and spectate!!!

I believe if this continues to gain support, year in and year out that it could launch an initiative to get a drag strip in the Kingman area. We'd love to see that and yes, we'd go.

They are trying for a track in Kingman. This is why they put this all together. Hopefully they are able to make it happen!
