I would say absolutely. Expect both cars to be top 5 if not championship contenders. I'm happy for Jeff cause this means no more sweating to get in the top 10.

They are both Kalitta cars. That's like asking if Grubnic and Doug share info.

I think that is a big jump to say top 5. Let's presume there are 3-4 Force cars, 4 DSR cars, plus 2 Kalitta's, Cruz, Tony, Tasca, Wilk and Bode (don't know how many races Terry will run this year). That is 14-16 cars running on the regular. I think getting Alexis in the top 10 would be a great goal for Del in his first year as crew chief and her first year of driving...

Mike , I dont think they were running same combo last season, At pheonix her car had a real wierd high idle thing going on , Arends sounding nothing like it , maybe they were testing though , who knows ?

more than one car with higher idle at the line - have heard this too.

Definately so. Now, that might change on raceday when they face each other...but for sure, the goal is to win

Don't shoot me but I would really love Team Kalitta to ascend back to the top 3 in Top Fuel. Funny car is loaded.
