Not an accident, a tail dragging incident.


At least the gear was down. When I was working for a local carrier they would have a gear up landing twice a year. Prop planes connecting hubs, pilots trying to run up their flight hours to upgrade.

did they ever say why he was going around? if something was in the way I'd want to get up quick!
 
The only thing I read was "unstable approach/interrupted landing sequence" which doesn't explain a great deal. Not much that can cause a tail strike like that other than over-rotation.

Could have been a lot worse..... :eek:
