Why the NHRA does not ever do a "welcome to the new season" type of pro class show on Fox prior to the first race of the year? Interview the drivers, crew chiefs, showcase what's new with the returning teams, talk about new teams and drivers etc. NASCAR has no shortage of information out ghere what's going on in their sport well before Daytona happens. Even a 30 min show would be great and get a little enthusiasm going before the season opener.

Most likely that is more of a Fox thing and less of an NHRA thing.

I think we can all agree that NHRA Today needs to return as a weekly show.

I have been impressed with the amount of social media activation that the NHRA has been doing this offseason. Whether or not you like it, social media and streaming are King and traditional network TV is quickly going by the wayside. And the more that the Amazons, Apples, and Netflixes of the world get into the live content game, it is only going to be expedited. If I were NHRA, I would be putting a big focus of my marketing and communication on those two mediums, which is what they appear to be doing.
