I wonder if Gary got to see KISS on thier "Last KISS" tour? Or did Gary by chance catch a show on Ozzy's "No More Tours" tour? Hey, as long as Scelzi can be around.... fine by me. .......tell him to bring a sponsor with him

WOW I figured he'd be back, I just thought he'd be gone before he came back.
Although if he hasn't missed a race yet does it really count as a retirement.
Also he's not saying he wants to come back full time....yet.
It sounds like if someone offerred him a race here and there he'd be on it in a heartbeat. Someone hire him for however many races he wants. I'll fill in for the rest

he's in a good position with potential short fields in '09.
any pre-race publicity announcing his intent to race would and should

It's a little humorous...all his changing plans. It reminds me of 'crying wolfe'. After a couple of these "time off to work on the family business/retirement to be with my family", it's just not the news it used to be. He was the slowest and most inconsistent of the three DSR cars, so we really haven't lost anything. He was good at the comic bits on the ESPN2 broadcasts. I'll miss those...
