Great news on JR, hope it happens. What's up with Hot Rod, he and Vandergriff went separate ways? I just read where Fuller is working on getting that second MLR seat.

That's quite the magic act by NHRA. They've magically transformed a lot of very expensive racing parts into a lot of very expensive shelf junk. viola!!

The first time I met JR was after the finals against Shoe at LVMS in October 2006. He and Shoe had been going back and forth (all in fun I think) the 2nd half of that season and he ran a close race but came up short. I was roaming the pits after the race with my buddies and we saw him just kicking back outside his hauler. We approached him and BS'd for awhile. I couldn't believe how approachable he was considering the circumstances. The sport needs more personalities like his.

I've got a lot of respect for that dude and can only hope he locks up a permanent ride...
