Wonderful call in my opinion; Vandergriff appears to check all the boxes. I bet his old man is proud, too. I know Bazemore and Skuza are disappointed but that's just how it goes.

I do wonder if Austin has any regrets about packing his bags and taking a hike. He was the heir apparent to Force's seat; JF made no bones about it. I wouldn't have traded that job driving the #1 FC in the country (tuned by the #1 FC tuner in the country) to drive and tune a second car for Tasca but I suppose the Procks have their reasons.

I'm sure his "Old Man" is proud. Do you know him? I assume you know that Bob is his uncle.

I don't, other than I followed Bob when he was an active racer. I honestly thought he was Jordan's Dad. Appreciate the clarification.

At least my guess of TJ was because he still drives a FC occaisionally (mostly in Australia)

John Force many years ago, called Dean Skuza's Mopar Parts funny car a "Hudson" on national TV back when it aired on ESPN2.
