After watching the qualifying broadcast, I was wondering how John Force got his car weighed following his pass. If I'm not mistaken aren't you required to get weighed with car and driver? Force headed back to the starting line and back to the finish line after Ashley ran. On TV his car was no where to be seen. It is possible that the car itself weighs over the minimum amount so it isn't really an issue. I know one of the Pedregons got a run tossed out in Vegas 2 last year for not stopping at the scales.

pretty good chance that they held off going to the scales till after Ashley ran. All he would have to do is stop by the scale with the car already on it, stand on the scale, get a number, move on. Only takes but just a min.

Remember, he rode back down to the starting line, then after the run he rode back up. Last run of the day, so there is no rush to get back to the pits.
