Tasca said what the issues are with Pomona, but you need NHRA.TV for that. Maybe someone who is thinking clearly will clarify his assessment.

Goodnight again ... I am soo tired.

Glad everyone is ok. But more concerned with John’s comments, he did not hit the left wall and ricochet right into JR, nor did he put JR into the wall. Might be that time to step away, he is missing details he should not be missing.
Does NHRA have a concussion protocol similar to what there is in today's stick and ball sports?

Maybe a cognitive dissonance test too Ted.

Force is smart......He'll know when it's time to retire.....Could of happened to any driver....I thought I heard Tasca was complaining about the track...
Welcome to pro drag racing.....**** happens whether you like it or not.....

To all the John Force questioners out there....

There's something else at play here....

I have know Geneva Nash and John Richardson for many years.

They are both long time Top Dragster competitors with literally hundreds of runs between them,.
So I'm not sure what happened to Geneva, but she cetrainly can drive a fast dragster.

John is OK [except for his wallet!] and Geneva was transported to a local hospital for "observation".
I am sure that she got her "bell rung"!

Well, in the 3rd round of qualifying, he almost did it to Capps, but he stepped off the pedal that time.

Geez, I didn't know there was so many people on this site that have sat behind the
butterfly steering wheel of a nitro flopper. I don't recognize the names, but I'm new
to the sport. The first time I saw John was early August 1975, 64 Funny Cars Seattle.
I'm pretty sure this was the first time he came to Seattle as a driver. I was 16 years old.
John when you do decide to hang it up, you will always be one of my all time favorite
flopper pilots!!! The car pictured below is the one I saw in 1975, Chevy Monza body.
I believe the picture is from Sept or Oct of 1975 at OCIR. He was just starting to try to
turn himself into a crispy critter and people we're already saying he should quit.

AA/FC John Force in the seat. Check out John's hand going for the parachute
lever. Just Bitchin!

I don't know how JR kept his cool. I would be livid at John.
We have no idea what Todd may or may not have said to Force. He didn't appear real happy judging by his body language. John just f***ed up somebody's brand new race car.

Yes he is not as spry as he once was but the old man can still get it done out there. I will never ever ever ever doubt John Force. This was the same man that 15 years ago they said would never walk again after his crash in Dallas and not only walked but came back and won races and championships. If John felt he was not able to drive I think he would take himself out of the car.

As I type this Cruzer just doinked a couple blocks.

cylinders were out, butterflies were trying to close....boom. with very little flame. what's everyone think about the body tethers?
hydrauliced both cylinder heads?
force's explosion at finish line against lindberg at phoenix a few years ago was similar, concussion lifted frame, body shredded.
