There's a speed trap at 660', none at 1000' at any track I've ever seen or heard of.
All that stuff shows up on the "game boy".
Mike Dunn IS always announcing 1000 ft times.
(Mike-COULD guess AND be right though!!!)

I say lets strap good ol JOHN in one of these babies...HANG the throttle OPEN...CUT the chute lines...Have an Ignitor (to be SURE its on FIRE by 1250!).....HAVE SAIL OVER HIS DIRT BURM...DOWN INTO THE SPORTSMAN PITS BELOW!!!
IF Scotts accident WAS in Denver, and NOT englishtown...COULD have been WAY UGLIER than it was.
JOHN B. ...do your job.
Put your suitcase beside Tom and Grahams, TAKE your CUT, ...AND
SHUT UP PLEASE!
WHOA! - did ya get started early on the beverages? Insulting John is totally uncalled for - a family that has pretty much dedicated their entire lives to our sport -
I was going to comment on your attack on John Bandimere, but, since you are unable to distinguish between 1000' ETs and 1000' Speeds, I'll let that stand as a "consider the source" example. All that stuff shows up on the "game boy".

I could be wrong, but I think jet cars have sanctioning body imposed speed limits on them, and jets aren't nitro cars running at a national event.so vegas isn't safe to run 1320 ? well we wouldn't anyone's feelings hurt. I
think his comments had more to do with the fact he was about to run 4th of july jet car show to 1320 . If he agreed with it, he'd have to change that event's distance too.

I'm not an amazing man by any stretch. Given my belief that most readers of this forum have a modicum of intelligence, "consider the source" is based upon previous publicly expressed ignorance. If you need specifics, there are no sportsman pits below the end of the strip at Bandimere. In fact, there are no sportsman pits below any part of the actual strip, period.BOB...YOU are considering the source...ONE letter...YOU are an amazing man!
GD BLSS!!!!
CONSIDERING the source are you...................?
WHO are YOU BOBBY and what do you know??????????
(Youre not one of those TICKET seliing / I wont support ANYMORE guys are you??????????????
