She had a good shot at it but a dropped hole about 500 feet out spelled the end for her. We were rooting for her here at the house. I also hated to see Matti Gordon blow the hoops off in E1.A great day for Jasmine Salinas. I applaud her for that. Todd tuned the car very well. She made it to the final against Doug, but it's nearly impossible to beat that team. I hope she gets funding to race more NHRA events. I like her.

Think he figured out how nitro can drain your acct, prob needs a sponsor for jasmineIsn't the $$ to run more races up to her Dad Mike to provide funding from the family fortune? I recall he has said in the past he didn't want to deal with sponsors and that was why he was self-funded. Is that still true? I don't recall he ever made a public statement as to why he pulled out of the series early last year. Supposedly it was because his business had picked up to the point where he didn't have time? Or, did his accountant get his attention that his funds were diminishing? At any rate, she could have won yesterday as her dragster was like a bracket car, except for dropping a cylinder in the final.
It was interesting watching everyone on the air working REALLY hard to avoid the IHRA topic as she was going rounds. Proof that more seat time pays off.
when he ran the car it was his money he made to spend. The culture he appears to support is that you earn your own way so Jasmine is mostly on her own to make it.Think he figured out how nitro can drain your acct, prob needs a sponsor for jasmine
Jasmine seems to have come in to her own.if they found some partner money, IMO they would be a top 7 player. they seem to get more out of their tuneup
than some fulltime teams.
You know they wanted to talk about her and Mike racing each other in Columbus! It was interesting watching everyone on the air working REALLY hard to avoid the IHRA topic as she was going rounds. Proof that more seat time pays off.
And it was her 2nd final of the year, Dunn in March. You know they wanted to talk about her and Mike racing each other in Columbus!
