A great day for Jasmine Salinas. I applaud her for that. Todd tuned the car very well. She made it to the final against Doug, but it's nearly impossible to beat that team. I hope she gets funding to race more NHRA events. I like her.
She had a good shot at it but a dropped hole about 500 feet out spelled the end for her. We were rooting for her here at the house. I also hated to see Matti Gordon blow the hoops off in E1.

Isn't the $$ to run more races up to her Dad Mike to provide funding from the family fortune? I recall he has said in the past he didn't want to deal with sponsors and that was why he was self-funded. Is that still true? I don't recall he ever made a public statement as to why he pulled out of the series early last year. Supposedly it was because his business had picked up to the point where he didn't have time? Or, did his accountant get his attention that his funds were diminishing? At any rate, she could have won yesterday as her dragster was like a bracket car, except for dropping a cylinder in the final.

Think he figured out how nitro can drain your acct, prob needs a sponsor for jasmine

since jasmine went off the nhra tour in spring of '25, she has repeatedly mentioned she is trying to attract partners.
i think it was easy for her to chase ihra, as they were paying more than nhra to show up and lose E1. same thing creasy, joon,
and others have mentioned. i think she still wants to do TF, and i think mike does too, but in the interim they pick their races,
so her name stays out there and relevant. yesterday paid off great.

she had the slowest winning e.t. in E1, lucky to get around josh hart. her E2 and E3 she was
very consistent with her r.t.'s, ran very competitive e.t.'s, and came up against uncharacteristic bad r.t.'s from
shawn and leah. ...... wish her well again this weekend in seattle.

Remember when Mike "all of a sudden" became a force? Between AJ, a bigger chunk of $$$ being spent and Mike being fearless, all played into becoming the Perfect Storm in favor of Team Scrappers...

Could that happen again? I wouldn't bet against it.
