Great showing from Jack.. He got down the track when others couldn't... Still trying to get hold of him to find out why he realy didn't make the next round.... lot of conflicting reports from people that were at the track.. including what TV reported...lol....

Still great weekend for Jack and the crew...

Looked to me they were not 100% prepared to turn the car around very quickly with the shorter times becasue of the rain delay.

Paul.. they were ready.........lol..... :D:D

Steve apparently alot of peoples from the calls and e-mails....

I saw him pull up to the staging lanes before the second pair went, just after Force went. After they saw it was too late, they turned around and headed back. That sucks, if were any other pair but the first he would have been there. I don't know the rules, but I guess if the rules said he was the first pair and he wasn't ready that's the way it goes. Felt bad for him though.

Coil might have hopped it up a bit on the start with no one in the other lane... You never know.

The 2nd round.
The temp was 2 deg cooler
Humidity was down 3 %
Adjusted altitude was 211 feet lower
Barometer was .05 lower
Track Temputure was 1 deg cooler
Than it was the 1st round = quicker, and faster.

Second round winners et
Force 4.139
Capps 4.163
T-Ped 4.155
Beckman 4.17

Where did I say "consistency", if Jack would have been in the other lane John would have still run 4.139, my statement isn't false, think about it.

sorry ken, misread your post.
sure wish jack could've made the call though...........you just never know.

It's cool Mike, I meet Jack through a friend of mine who used to work for him, he's a good guy, and I wish he could have made the call, but the 60 min turn around bit him, it was good to Jack get some t.v. time though.

I got a question then.... didn't Tasca or some one wait like 10 mins for Force to come to the line earlier in the year?... couldn't John have waited?... just asking....

Billy, I think the NHRA was rushing to get everything done on Sunday. There was little to zero down time between runs, or between classes. If they were not 2+ hours behind already, I'm sure they could of shot t-shrts into the stands for a few extra mins.
