Sponsor $$$ will win over driver attitude/personality Everytime! I have spoken to Spencer on 3 occasions and he always seemed like a Nice kid, this whole Antron deal came as a shock to me. But I remember 2-3 years back, Jon Asher wrote an article stating...Pro dragracing is who can bring Sponsor $$$, not who can win rounds!

SO true,and it is a very clear fact Mr Massey doesnt give a rats ass how or who pays for his ride.....sad.
Even worse is the team (man) that takes the money. If indeed Snow is the backer that tells me the only thing I need to know. Drunken bigot + convicted child molester + money can be parlayed into a NHRA TF ride. I guess? thats scruples to some.
There truly is no ethics left in racing when this can happen. A guy like TJ plays the game, waits patiently, saves the team huge amounts of money running the shop inventory supply, does test driving and track analysis, plus who knows what only to get the rug yanked out from under him by some rich kid with a chip on his shoulder and a big mouth. Hope it was worth it DSR...
you said just about all of it....except for the part about his sugardaddy/boyfreind......you know the one thats 40 years his senior....from texas...that likes boys...alot
I posted this on another thread but its worth repeating because your stating something as a fact ("sugardaddy/boyfreind") that you have no firsthand knowledge of:
I'm no Spencer Massey fan but in his defense Snow and Spencer's dad are life long friends. That is where Snow's support of Spencer comes from. Seriously doubt if there is any other reason no matter how much you want to make it something else.

Wow! I am amazed at all the hatred. Like Joe, I have met Spencer and he is a stand up guy. Not perfect but a good kid. What may have been said not withstanding, everyone makes mistakes and says things they shouldn't. I for one will be slow to judge.
