Yes Sir Paul ... especially in PS, PSM, and Pro Mod. As long as there is some temp and a good barometer. Comp cars were flying this morning. 5 runs better than -70 under and 3 more better than -.65 under. I would be worried about session 2 today. % chance of rain grows heading into the evening ... even if it stays dry it is supposed to be down into the low 50's by then. Could be a lot of aborted runs if the track becomes a cold slab.
Saturday might prove to be the better day with a little more temp and maybe just enough sun to maintain it.

Don't think it will ever get that high today. Stock round 1 ran at 1:15 pm ... air temp was 65 and the reported track temp was 76. Unless the sun comes out soon, the air and track temps will begin dropping and getting closer together. Could be an ugly session tonight ... especially if you paid money to watch.Anytime the track temps are in the 85-90 degree range, Look out!
Yeah that is true, some tracks worse than others! At Pomona if it gets under 70 degrees it gets real slick and nobody can get down it! last year they even canceled a Pro stock session because of it!
