This thread is the first I have heard of the new tire Martin.

If it is safer and the teams can get more than 2 or 3 passes on them ... I am all for a new tire ... otherwise, not a big fan of a change in the middle of the season with the testing ban in place.

Let's put this to rest right now...Clay Millican drove our car in testing at Commerce because we were scheduled to do a Goodyear tire test and Antron had a family medical emergency and vacated the property immediately following the rain delayed race.
