I think it's worth mentioning here that it looks like John Bandimere is basically the sole "motorsports mogul" in Colorado. Because not including the stadium shows like AMA Supercorss and Monster Jam, as well as the Pike Peaks Hill Climb...the Mile High Nationals is really the only major racing event left in Colorado.... for now. ChampCar just announced there will not be a Grand Prix this year in downtown Denver. And NASCAR's Pikes Peak Raceway closed a couple years ago. If anything this should boost the already outstanding Mi-high nationals' attendance. Of course there's been rumors of a NASCAR Supertrack....but for now I think the Bandimere family needs to be commended for allt thier efforts to keep drag racing at the forefront.
