Joe I think you're right, I've heard the internet really hurt the need to have those type of shows anymore. But they were fun, many times we found photos of my dad's A/A from the early 70s, kinda cool treasure hunt.

Nunzio I think the Death of the Diecast is the cause more than anything!

Joe that may be partially true, but I remember a big part of those shows being old National Dragsters, Drag Racing USA's, SS&DI, etc. Along with tons of photo catalogues, and old model kits.

There is a hotel in Avon Indiana which is about 6 miles closer to the track than Plainfield Indiana it has many resteraunts close by also Avon is where many drivers live so you never know who you may see out and about

I usualy stay at the comfort suites airport , and use points from work = Free lodging for me and my son
