I'm a little sad that the Manitoba-based A/Fuel Dragsters of Doug Doucette and Clif Bakx aren't making the trip to Indy. However, they will be having a match race at our local track, Motion Performance Raceway, this Sunday. I will be there.

I think that car is running regular FC with Nataas drivng it but it may be a different car.

No, she was at Cordova as well.

would be interesting to watch the pit parking on both sides. i think last few years PM has been on west side of track, but
event map shows them on east side. a lot of vendors(midway) in between nitro pits.
anyone know if pro's swap to west side is expected to take place next year? or maybe two years?

That project was pushed back a few years, the new tower went a bit over budget, so they have to wait to do the new entrance and pit revamp.

I think this may speak to the fragile state of NHRA finances. Don't expect them to buy any of the IHRA tracks, when they can't even finish a relatively modest rehab of the Indy facility.

Only the fans expect NHRA to buy the tracks, nobody that races here, or works with the NHRA expects that.

It’s way more than a ‘modest’ rehab. Redoing the west entrance is a very large project- likely costing more money than several of the IHRA tracks combined.

I will be the first one to call out execs who are bleeding a business dry without delivering results, but the reality is that an exec running a multi-million dollar entity will have a salary in the hundreds of thousands. If you dictate that they only make XXX amount, then the quality of your candidates will diminish.
