Q1 stock 128th and final place qualified @ -0.798 under......37 cars under -1.002 or better.
49 cars not in.....wow

In other words, chances are you are not going to win your class unless you make a mockery of the index, and you are PRAYING you don't run against a class vehicle during stock eliminations. But other than that, you are glad you towed all the way to Indy!

I wish I was there for tomorrow too ... Even though I was making a joke about it earlier, I have come to appreciate Stock more and more, and I have never watched class eliminations before. I think it would be interesting to see. The factory showdown is just icing on the cake!

I'm the same way, it has to do with the performance they're getting out them. I hope NHRA and Fox find time to start showing more of these categories in the future.

The problem with stock now is the factory cars are not subject to getting hp like the other stockers so they can let it hang out. But still my favorite class and wish I was there. Still think Candies 7.90 in super stock should be the new pro stock car.
