In N' Out Update !!

I drive by the new build in Frisco every day...sometimes twice. I get hungry each time, too. Less than 5 minutes from the house...can't wait!

I happen to run into a executive VP visiting one of the locations here in So.Cal and after thanking him for the service and quality of food, I asked him about the expansion. He replied that they are looking to purchase land for a distribution center in the upper mid-west to serve Illinois,Ohio, and so on. Their long range plan is to hit the east coast within ten years.

Good luck and happy eating.

Please say it ain't so! TEN YEARS before hitting the east coast, I'll be an old man by then.

Back in the day West Seventh Street Fort Worth one of the new locations of In an Out Burger used to be a cruzing street !
In the late 60's and early seventies you could find all kinds of Hot Rod's and Classic Cars at the Clover Drive In and Macky D's !
The joint was full of Roadrunners , GTO's Camaro's and GS Buicks along with the occasional Street Rod !
One guy even had a streetable Dragster with lights and all !
It was crazy back then ! I had a Dodge Coronet with a hopped up 440 Magnum .

Positively A Car Guy Era !
Of course after getting my arse handed to me at Texas Motor Speedways Drag Race in the pit area by some factory Hot Rods last year I found out right now has to be an even better heyday with 634 Factory HP available and even a Subaru CTS or something like that sporting 400 HP.
Yep plenty of HP out there and now In And Out to boot !

Maybe it will be revived again . I still cruz there in my Hot Rod Vette and take it to the car shows further out on Camp Bowie Bvd.
You can bet I'll be there when it opens !
Being a car Guy in the MetroPlex is really good right now !

Thanks to Mel and Drag Racing and some good marketing !

A friend of mine just took her youngest to San Diego for her oldest's boot camp graduation. I told her about all this bragging everyone does about how good these burgers are. Well, they tried it.....now her 16 year old is posting on FB how bad he's craving a double-double. LOL

As someone who lives walking distance from an In-N-Out, I just don't get it. Their burgers are small, so you have to get a double-double, and their fries are bland. I MUCH prefer Fatburger.

That being said ... I am super-happy they are spending their money in NHRA and I make sure to grab a burger every now and then to say thanks ... and all the Maters that come out for the Vegas races definitely keep them in business LOL.

While in Phoenix for the BCS National Championship game won by my Auburn Tigers by the way,we ate @ there. I loved the double double and the fries. We have 5 Guys and I'm not that big on them, they're OK but I like N & Out better.

Never had the opportunity to eat at an In-N-Out, but I have eaten at several 5 Guys burger joints here in the Philly area and I have to say that I really love them. Best $5 burgers around IMHO. Their fries are delicious as well. Bottom line is that we all enjoy something different, which isn't a bad thing.

On a side note, Emeril's just opened up a specialty burger restaurant in one of the local casinos. Some friends highly recommended that we try it. At first I was shocked to see the price-$14 for a burger, but you could top it with any a ton of different toppings and it came with a huge order of fries or onion rings. Best burger I've ever eaten, it literally melted in your mouth, just delicious. Not sure how many calories, I don't think I want to know.

That being said, thanks to In-N-Out for all they do to for our sport, much appreciated. I will definitely try one of their burgers if I find one of their shops on my travels around the country.
