In n Out is now out?? (1 Viewer)

not the stores. just the HQ, plus better positioned for expansion into SE.
and one of the original stores in oakland closed due to mob rule mentality in area.
many other retail stores in that immediate area of oakland also closed.

From the AI post on Google:

In-N-Out's headquarters are transitioning: the long-standing Irvine, CA office will close by 2029, with West Coast operations consolidating back to their roots in Baldwin Park, California, where they started in 1948, while a new Eastern Territory office opens in Franklin, Tennessee to support growth in the East. The Baldwin Park move unifies West Coast staff, while Tennessee provides opportunities for new expansion and employees.

If Lynsi's house sold, you can imagine what the new owner's property tax bill will look like. The same goes for all these Hollywood types that have been moving out the last few years.

If anyone else read the same artical I did yesterday, you'd understand beter.... some new laws in California were just installed against the Millionaires and Billionaires, that Lynsi will now miss out on......Her estimated tax this year would have been $435 Million !! Wish I could remember where I read it!

It’s the article linked in the first post…

Along with this list of corporations that have or plan on leaving California, Philips 66 and Valeo are closing refineries, Budweiser in Nor. Cal. is shutting down and some big cheese mfr. is leaving Central Cal. too. With that so goes the jobs.

Budweiser is not moving that plant, it is shutting down along with 2 others in the US. They still have their LA plant. this is not about California but beer sales being way down and existing plants producing more beer than they did before. Look for more breweries to close around the country as younger people do not drink as much beer as the older people did, between older people drinking less with age and younger people not drinking beer as much it is not a good future for the beer industry.

I didn't say Bud was moving the plant, only that it was shutting down and my point was that good jobs are leaving CA.

I for one have stopped drinking alcohol, soft drinks and eating any snack foods. But still plan on going to In-n-Out at least once a month.

The craft industry is having issues as well. For one think people don't go out and socialize like they used to
Not when being locked alone in a room b!tch!n' at the world how crummy it is thru a poorly designed "phone" is what most think is a thing...
Today's imitation of "being social"...It sure AIN'T.
