C’mon over and bring your wallet !!

Yes, it will cost some money, but it's almost pennies compared to the extreme expense of a Formula 1 team. And NHRA will welcome him, unlike Formula which 1 is fighting tooth and nail to keep him out. Why anyone would want to race, or watch Formula 1 is beyond me. What a horrible series it has become.

Mike better go have a beer with John and Jack (Clark) before any major decisions are made…. Think long and hard on it. Could this be the return of Taco Bell Motorsports? I say go for it. Get yourself a pretty young girl to drive it; or a strapping good looking young lad….Bring your checkbook and your line of credit and show all these straight-liners how it’s done!!!!!

NHRA is cheap to compete compared to F1, NASCAR and Indy.

Just think about the expense of just getting car and crew to say Monaco and back. I'll bet that would fund a nitro car a few races.

Being the budget for an F1 team is 135 million without driver salaries, which are between 8 and 40+ million, he should be able to fund the entire field.

John passed in 2020 of cancer.

Dale Creasy Sr. Was supposed to have a Cadillac FC about 10 years ago. It never made the track and I have no idea how far along they were with the body.

waiting for creasy name to show up on BIR entry list. so far nothing.
....... regarding andretti, or anyone else that wants to come play in the nhra; it's like richard freeman mentioned on WFO, sometimes it's not the money,
it's getting the personnel in place to field an effort. not always easy, again eluding to richard and joe's comments about how much nitro talent is really available
for new and/or expanding teams.

If there is no way to pick the brains of old school tuners like Coil, Dunn, etc. It’s going to be bad for the sport imo. Working ones are so busy and also have to guard their s competitive secrets, and when people talk to the elders, it seems more like a social visit where they want to hear stories, not tech. We need a way for anyone to be able to understand it all, from the time Mr. Edelbrock first tried it in an engine up to say 4~5 years before the current season. That way, the learning curve is condensed, and we’re learning the lessons the easy way (from our elders’ guidance) vs the hard way (from a pile of blow up parts from going down paths our elders already went down and blew up stuff on). Just like anywhere else in line when people try to tell us right vs letting us make the same mistakes they did.

Andretti's shop is already in Indy, won't be that big of deal to pop over to Brownsburg and talk to whomever he needs to talk to. Andretti is a big boy, he knows what he is getting into, his uncle John raced Top Fuel and his father, some guy named Mario, has been friendly with the Snake for about 50 years. Maybe this could be a way to get Marco in a fuel ride, as his IndyCar career has been kaput for a few years. It would be cool to have the Andretti name back in Top Fuel. In any event, if Michael is serious about this, I can guarantee you he already has a pretty decent plan in place.
